From the bonds of chemicals

Looking for another way

To feel good again

Always in search

Of the happy chemical

Being released into my brain

Food and cigarettes and coffee and TV

Still don't fill the void

That I feel will only be filled

When I have found complacency

With my situation

Put it in a special box

The one that goes to God

Call it good once again

Big guy will take care of me
