Inspiration Candle

burn the late night candle

Nothing I can’t handle

That’s when I get inspired

Alive but not wired

That’s when the magic takes place

And I take a journey through time and space

I ponder life

And why I am here

And the many good reasons that I

No longer drink beer

Up to me and only me

To be successful

Write some poetry

And hope it’s not dull

I don’t have to be famous

In fact, I don’t think I would handle it

Very well

Blow my fans a kiss

Maybe write some poetry shit

Be well

And strive for happiness

Maybe my writing inspires someone else

To do great things with their life

Happy with mine

And the writing I’ve done

What I will be known for

What I leave behind

Hope for the best

And strive to be kind
