Just wanted you to know

How much I care

And just how much

I want to be there

Sitting right by you

Through heartache and happiness

And how you’ll always know

You’ll never be friendless

You’ll always have me

I’m your shoulder to cry on

And when it seems near the end

I’ll be by the bed you lie on

I’ll be by your side

A shadow watching over you

An angel to guard you

And keep you out of harm’s way too

Just wanted you to know

How much I care

And just how much

I want to be there
