I want to escape

The vines on the fence have tendrils

And convert sunlight to energy

My garden makes me happy

Because we all need to find

Our place in the world

Other people will usually help

Just trying to get through the day

My soul gravitates towards you

It is intrigued

And interested

In helping make this world a better place

But after awhile

I don’t have pain anymore

Replaced by laughter

It will always get better

I am so, so happy

With my writing

A flood of emotions

Overwhelming

I am here for some ultimate purpose

And so are you
