Dominic Jones has been writing since 1998.

He has written mostly poetry but has dabbled in short stories and has also been utilizing a journal through most of his teenage years and into his adult life. He got published in the literary magazines for their respective schools in 9th and 11th grade. He also got published in the early 2000s in Hedra News, an alternative medicine magazine distributed all over Idaho and perhaps other states in the Pacific Northwest area.

At BSU he pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Service Technology with a minor in Addiction Studies. He took Poetry Writing, got a B+, and did very well while he was at Boise State University. He took a total of three English classes and was considering a degree in Creative Writing or English.

He took the classes he wanted to take in college. Study Skills, Criminal Justice, Anthropology, Archaeology, Introduction to Wireless LANs, etc.

He achieved a 3.1 GPA with a full 16-credit class load.

He went to college for a total of 7.5 years because he loves to learn.

During his University stint he stayed sober from all illicit substances for a total of 4.5 years, while taking a full class load, going to AA everyday, on probation, and doing substance abuse classes at St. Alphonsus Addiction Recovery Center.

He lives with his cat in Boise, ID.

As a freelance writer this is something

he has always wanted to do.
